Contained in the anecdotes are references made to Signor Rossi's assassination, the Dublin Review, Wiseman's book "Story of the Catacombs: Fabiola," Eustace de Lisle, Ambrose Phillips de Lisle, Edward Bulwer Lytton (Lord Lytton), Pere Ravignan, Abbe de la Mennais, Father Herbert Vaughan, Edwin de Lisle, Miles Gerald Keon, William Manning, St. Francis Xavier, and Henry Edward Manning. Notes are made to Mr. Wilifrid Ward, Wiseman's biographer,throughout the typescript. Also included is a bibliography for Wiseman, an entry from Kent's diary, and a small slip with a copy of an inscription from Wiseman.
